A Notice to Mariners about changes to the survey vessels operating within Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm has been issued. The notice is summarised below and can be downloaded here.
From the 30th May 2014 until further notice the survey vessels RRS Ernest Shackleton will be carrying out seabed investigations at various locations within the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm. The RRS Ernest Shackleton is joining as an additional vessel to assist in the survey work that started earlier in 2014 (see our previous notice here).
All work will be conducted within the Gwynt y Môr site boundary. Other vessels are advised to observe a 500m safety zone around the vessels engaged in survey or diving operations.

- Confidante: Survey vessel | Call sign ZQZI5
- Discovery: Survey vessel | Call sign 2AEL8
- Ernest Shackleton: Survey vessel | Call sign ZDLS1
The vessels will monitor private radio channels and VHF Channel 16 and DIGIpool 1 at all times..
