Some geophysical survey operations are due to be carried out on the export cable route from the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm. These surveys were due to commence on the 20th April 2013. The works are expected to take 1-2 days (subject to weather) and will be carried out by the vessel MV Lia.
A notice about these operations can be downloaded here. During survey operations the vessel will be towing equipment up to 100m astern. All vessel traffic is asked to give the MV Lia a wide berth at all times as she may have restricted ability to manoeuvre.

The vessel will monitor VHF Channel 16 at all times.
