Gwynt y Môr Windfarm: Sea Worker to start wind turbine installation.

On June 26th 2013 the jack up rig Sea Worker will commence Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation works at the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm.  The Sea Worker will be towed from the Port of Mostyn to the wind farm on a regular basis by the tugs Sea Echo and Sea Bravo.

In addition to the vessel being on location within the wind farm site, the support vessels will install an anchor pattern at its next scheduled location.  The coordinates for the anchor patterns will be made available when they are known.  A notice to mariners, including details of the Sea Worker and support vessels can be downloaded here.

All vessels operating in the area are requested to give this ship a berth of 500m.  The construction vessels will monitor VHF Channel 16 at all times.
