Mariners are advised that geophysical survey operations are due to be carried out in and around the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm during March 2018. A Notice to Mariners has been issued, which is summarised below and can be downloaded here.
The vessel Fugro Seeker is due to carry out a survey throughout the windfarm area, starting on 13th March 2018. The survey is due to take 7 days on site, and expected to be completed between 31st March and 15th April (depending on weather and sea conditions).
The vessel details, including a link to its present location, are:-

The vessel will be operating on a 12 hour basis from either Conwy or Mostyn. During survey operations Fugro Seeker may be towing equipment, up to 100m behind the vessel.
During the course of these operations the Fugro Seeker may be restricted in her ability to manoeuvre.
The vessel will be displaying the appropriate lights and shapes as required under COLREGS Rule 27(b). Other vessels are required to maintain a wide berth of at least 250m.
