Mariners are advised that survey operations are due to be carried out off the North Wales coast within the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm during May 2019. A Notice to Mariners has been issued, which is summarised below and can be downloaded here.
Survey operations are due to start on the 1st May 2019, weather permitting.
Location
Survey work is due to be conducted throughout the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm.
Vessel details
The survey is to be carried out by the vessel Forth Jouster. The vessel details, including a link to its present location, are:-
- Forth Jouster: Tug | Call Sign 2BME4.
During the course of survey operations the vessel will be towing equipment. The vessel and may be restricted in the ability to manoeuvre and a wide berth is requested at all times.
The vessel will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 16. Further information about the survey vessel is provided in the Notice to Mariners which can be downloaded here.
