On the 18th July 2013, engineers are due to be carrying out electrical commissioning work on the Offshore Substation East within the Gwynt y Môr windfarm area.
All vessels are requested to observe a 500m exclusion zone around the OSPE from 0900 onwards on the 18th July. A map showing the location of OSPE and the exclusion zone can be downloaded here.
The latitude and longitude of the OSPE substation is:-
- Latitude: 53.465664°N (or 53° 27.94’N if you prefer)
- Longitude: 3.540672°W (or 3°32.44’W if you prefer)
These coordinates are referenced to the WGS84 datum.
