Mariners are advised that survey operations are due to be carried out within the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm off the North Wales coast during April 2020. A Notice to Mariners has been issued, which is summarised below and can be downloaded here.
Survey operations are due to start on the 19th April 2020, weather permitting.
Location
Survey work is due to be conducted throughout the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Windfarm (a map of the windfarm is available from the Kingfisher website here).
Vessel details
The survey is to be carried out by the vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder. The vessel details, including a link to its present location, are:-
- Noordhoek Pathfinder: Survey vessel | Call Sign PBYN | MMSI 245457000.
During the course of survey operations the vessel will be towing equipment. The vessel and may be restricted in the ability to manoeuvre and a wide berth (500m) is requested at all times.
